Marielle didn't start AquaMermaid because she spotted a gap in the market. She started it because she was already doing it: underwater photo shoots, monofin swimming, performing, modelling. Building a business was the only logical next step.

She combined her passion for fitness, water, performance, and Disney Princesses into something real. She taught people to swim with monofins. She sold tails. She performed. She certified hundreds of professional mermaids across North America, one at a time.

Then aquariums started calling. Then hotels. Then corporate brands. Then film productions.

She is also a mother of two young daughters. They've both seen their mom in a tail. They think it's completely normal. That's the point. Magic should feel like something that belongs in everyday life: at a birthday party, at a corporate gala, at an aquarium on a Tuesday afternoon.
